Speaking & Teaching
Mary’s passion is preaching and teaching.
She is always looking for the connection between scripture and the lives we are living, through our own choices or by circumstances beyond our control. Mary’s teaching inhabits the space between formation and pastoral care. She has served as preacher-in-residence at Chapel of the Transfiguration in Grand Teton National Park on multiple occasions. She was visiting preacher at All Saints in the Mountains Episcopal Church in Crested Butte, Colorado. Most recently Mary preached and taught at Bay View Association, a Chautauqua community on Lake Michigan.
Mary has contributed reflections to Episcopal Café and through the Saint Michael seasonal podcasts. She has offered several retreats including Listening for God and Sabbath: Cultivating Stillness, Silence, and Solitude.
